Crow's Nest Cottage

True to its name, Crow's Nest is high up with a glorious view overlooking the sea (like the crow’s nest high on the mast of a schooner). Inside, its ceiling is crossed with log beams and is open to the roof above. Although rustic, it’s refined in detail and finish with its own grace, a comfortable “Maine” style uniquely its own. It has been perched here for nearly a Century. The covered porch (walk up some stone stairs from the parking area) is comforting and romantic, with a breathtaking view of East Penobscot Bay and Pumpkin Lighthouse. There are two bedrooms, one with a King bed and the other with two twin beds and a full bath. Off of the living room is a small office. The living room/dining room has an easy-to-use gas fireplace insert and hide-a-bed that sleeps 1. The kitchen is complete with a gas stove, microwave, eating/cooking utensils, silverware and dishes. It has a refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, electric hot water kettle, iron and ironing board, pots and pans and of course a lobster pot. There is a clothes washer and drier. There is “country WiFi” and landline phone for your use. It is a short walk to the Ocean Swimming Beach and the hiking trails of Lookout Rock. It is perfect for singles, couples and families.

Crow’s Nest will be all made up with fresh linens with extra clean towels, sheets and blankets in the closet. Housekeeping thereafter is self-serve. See Policies for more info.
